Management Information System (CS083)

 Overview on computers and information processing applications, data handling process automation, and fundamentals of systems. Survey of computerized management information systems. Topics include the conceptual foundation structure, and design of management information systems with application to functional areas of management.

 Database System I (CS073)

 Overview of fundamental concepts necessary for designing, using, and implementing database systems and applications. Modeling principles, and physical file storage techniques. Relational Model-including Oracle and Microsoft Access of relational System. Entity types and sets Index structure for files. SQL- the Relational Database Standard. Object Oriented Concepts-Object entity, structure and type.

 Information Technology (CS112)

  Introduces of data communication and computer networks; teaches use of internet, Mosaic, Gophers, e-mail. The course will introduce Multimedia and internet programming, Java script, and Home Page creation.

 Cognitive Psychology (     )

 Computer Application IV ( Power Point)

 Basic features of MS Excel. Installation, graphics, worldwide Setting. Formulas: Creating formulas on  worksheet, four-digit date formats. Formula palette and the paste function command. Check for invalid data in worksheet. Data Analysis, presentation and pivot Chart . Data tables in charts, charts and text positioning. Range finder in embedded charts, and geographical organized data and mapping. List management and data summary. Data retrieval from external database. Security such as digital signing of Macros.

 Auditing (AF033)

  The Audit profession, the audit functions, the structure of the audit profession, profession status and responsibilities of auditors. The audit process, Elements of audit process. Audit examinations, study and evaluation of internal control, test of transactions, test of balance, audit-sampling audit in an EDP environment. Preliminaries on the commencement of audit. Audit reports, the auditor’s report, other reports and responsibilities.

  Microeconomics (EC013)

 This course introduces the basic price theory tools and their application to product and resources markets to predict price and output outcomes under various assumed market conditions, perfect competition, oligopoly, etc…..

Macromedia Flash MX 11(ITFLS26)

 Dynamic loading of images and sound (JPEG and MP3). Enhanced development environment and TimeLine enhancements. syntax and use of Action Script  Dictionary elements: Decrement, logical not, division, conditional….The WAV Export Movie. XMLSocket object and continuous connection with a server. publish settings for GIF files . Data types: Boolean, defined, movie clips, number and objects. Debugger: Activating in web browser, flash debug player, movie properties, and variables. XML Extensible Markup Language. Optimizing curves. Adding scroll bars to input and dynamic text fields. handler functions for components. character spacing, kerning, and character position

Visual Basic 11 (ITVB26)

This course is about Database Programming with Visual Basic. It will teach the followings: Data entry forms and bound controls, VB Applications reports, SQL and select statement.  DAO Jet Database, Database creation and updating, Data-Bound List Box, grids and sub forms, data environment designer, displaying data with graph, creating data with SQL Error Handling. Database normalization, ActiveX Data Objects(DAO), Multi-user considerations

 

Database: Oracle SQL 1 (ITDB26 ))

Substitution variables. Defining user variables (Accept and Define commands). Creating Script File to Run a Report. Data Manipulation Language ( Insert, Update, …etc)

Describe some database objects and their uses. Create, Maintain, and use Sequences, Indexes, and Private & Public Synonyms.  Controlling User Access, such as create roles. Grant and Revoke object privileges. User System Privileges. How  DBA creates users accounts and initializes password. Constraints: Table level rules. Creation and Maintenance. How to define a constraint Viewing constraint. Disabling & Enabling constraints.

 

Network (ITNTW6))

Introduction to Network.  OS Layer module, Protocols, Physical Media: Coax, UTP, Optical Fiber, Radio, Network Protocols: Bus, Ring, Star, Ethernet module,. Switches, Repeaters, and Bridges. LAN & WAN. Overview of the TCP/IP protocol and internetworking (includes sub netting).  Windows Socket. Hubs and cabling.

 

Assembling and Maintenance 11 (ITASS26)

Understanding and Supporting Windows NT Workstation:

  • How to install Windows NT and how to evaluate when Windows NT is the best choice for PC OS. Understanding and managing memories.

  • Windows NT Registry , and logical & physical organization of the registry. Backing up the registry. How to use Windows NT troubleshooting techniques and tools.

  •  Set up Windows NT environment for a DOS or Windows WIN NT Boot Problems

  • Floppy Drives and data physical  and logical storage on disks

  • File Manager, and Multimedia. Understanding and supporting Windows NT Workstation & Emergency Repair Disk. Workstation Setup

  • Windows 9x to manage a floppy drive (Disk format, system disk)
