 Introduction to Computer Programming (CS012)

 Overview of computer history, organization, system and terminology.

 Problem solving using algorithms and flowcharts, data types, I/O, control

 structures functions and subprograms. How to deal with the computer in college laboratories. Fundamentals of MS-DOS and Windows. Fundamentals of word processing.

Computer Appreciation  (CSL11)

 How to deal with computers in the college laboratories. Fundamentals of MS-DOS and Windows. Fundamentals of other windows application and other Operating Systems.

 Computer Application1 (ITMS1) 

This course will give a breif introduction about MS Office 97/2000. More emphasis on MS Word: Click and Type for inserting text, graphics, tables…Using MS Word as an e-mail editor. Drawing and graphics sets (3-D). Task automation (i.e. auto correct). Proofing tools (spelling and grammer). Creating Web pages. Boarders and shading. Mathematics functions in calculations.

 Principle of Management (MK013)

 The concept of an organization, the concept of management, stages in the development of the theory of management, the scientific approach to managerial decision making, planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the enterprise functions. Managing change, social responsibility of buisness.

English Language(1) (HM021)

This course should be a computer realted subjects (Introduction to computer history). With more emphasis on the termenologies and language construction.

IT SEMESTER TWO

 

Computer Application MS Excel ( ITMSEX2 )

 Introduction to business data processing with emphasis on the use of personal computers in the business environment. Modeling of business problems using spreadsheets. Small information systems using computer and facilities of disk operating systems; word processing spreadsheets including advanced features. Exchange of information between documents of spreadsheets.

  Internet Programming1 (HTML)

Nature of HTML, HTML document and the page properties. Broswers, word processor, and graphics. WWW publishing, home page design, and the usefull of the software and broswer. Text and tags modifying files and changing tags. Links, image, and dividers(using pictures). Liknks between files, and files and frames. Forms and input elements. Tables and tables in designing. Frams: Dividing windows into frames, and image maps.

 Structured Programming with Pascal

Structured programming concepts in programs design for problem solving through algorithms using the Pascal programming language. Syntax and semantics, control structures, loops, arrays, string processing functions, procedures, recursive procedures and functions, records and files.

  Accounting (AF013)

 Introduction to financial accounting: The Accounting process, Journal entries, adjustment, preparation of Financial Statements, Examination of Accounting Systems and different forms of business organization, detailed study of certain assets: cash, marketable securities. Accounts and notes receivable, inventories, and fixed assets.

  Mathematics I (MS013)

 Plane analatic geometry – matrices and deteriments functions and graphing  - derivatives – lainer programming simple integration

  Investment (AF053)

 Relationship between investment and risk – The portfolio approach to decreasing risk – Introduction to the capital asset pricing model, Defining and measuring the cost of capital, investment decision under capital rationing.

  English lang II (HM051)

 (Comp. Related)

This course shoud be an extenstion to the previous one but with a high level in reading Articles(Newspapers and Magazines such as CompuServer , Computer and so on).

IT SEMESTER THREE

 Computer Application (MS ِAccess)    (CS352)

Setting up and Customizing Microsoft Access. Customizing application’s environment with MS Access. Working with forms, report and page design tools. Importing, exporting and linking. Creating and Design tables. Security database, replication and report snapshots. Working with control on forms, reports, and Data Access Pages. Programming information such as : Conversion, ActiveX Control and advanced programming concepts.

 

File Organization

 Characteristic of sequential and random access storage devices, space and time computation. Different file organizations: Sequential, direct(algorithm), indexed sequential, B+ tree and file structure for multiple-key processing including inverted files. The merits of these file organization and optimum choice for a given application. Accuracy,  integrity and security of data, study of ISAM and VSAM files. Laboratories exercise on the different file organization and accessing modes. Introduction to COBOL programming

 Statistics (MS033)

 Introduction – frequency distributions descriptive measures –simple liner regression and correlation probability   .

 System Analysis and Design ( (CS093)

 Fundamentals of the system development life cycle. Problem definition, feasibility  study, alternative solutions, cost/benefit analysis, development and implementation of computerized systems. Input and output design, software and hardware specifications. Advanced study of classical and current methods of structured design,. Management considerations including decision support system and long-range system planning. Use of case studies and systems development projects.

 Macroecnomic(EC023)

 This course develops the principles of macro economics –i.e the study of   working of economic at Large  in particulorar it examines   relationship between the major economic aggregates  such as Overall output unemployment inflash pudget deficit …ets  .
